It decays. Daily.
Fifteen points a day, without exception. Not a punishment β a clock. A conversation you stop feeding will visibly, measurably cool down, and you'll see it happen before it matters.
It rises when you both write. It fades when you don't. At zero, the conversation flatlines β and its history disappears 48 hours later.
Free to use. Free ways to get everything that matters.
Every chat carries a number between 0 and 180. Two people writing back and forth push it up. Silence pulls it down, every single day. Move the slider and watch what the app does at each stage β the heartbeat below runs at the real speed, 60 / BPM seconds per beat, exactly like in the app.
Fifteen points a day, without exception. Not a punishment β a clock. A conversation you stop feeding will visibly, measurably cool down, and you'll see it happen before it matters.
Once a day, at an hour nobody can predict, you get a two-minute window to send one photo or line to your friends. What arrives lives in a feed that empties at midnight. You either show up, or you don't.
Messages fade over 24 hours β the text dims, photos pixelate β and then they're gone. Unless both of you mark one to Keep. One person wanting it isn't enough.
Hold any message and mark it. Nothing happens yet β it sits there, pending, and the other person is told they've been asked. If they mark it too, the message stops fading. Gold outline, permanent, immune to the 24-hour clock.
It is the only permanence in the product, and it cannot be taken unilaterally. That's the point: what survives is what you agreed on, not what one of you decided.
A conversation that reaches 0 BPM flatlines, and its entire history is scheduled for deletion two days later. One thing brings it back: a defibrillator. It revives the chat at 60 BPM with everything intact.
Invite three friends who actually join, and one arrives. Or keep any single chat above 140 BPM for seven days β it arrives on its own, no purchase, no asking.
1 for $0.99 Β· 3 for $2.49 Β· 10 for $6.99. That's the whole shop. No timers pushing you, no discount that expires while you think about it.
The free routes are on this page β and in the app β with exactly the same weight as this card. That is a rule we wrote down, not a phase.
Pulse Pause freezes every conversation you have for up to 14 days. No decay, no flatline, no coming back to a graveyard. Your chats thaw exactly where you left them.
Cancel anytime. Nothing you already earned is taken away when you stop.
Not a promise β a constraint we enforced in the code and test for. Here is what that means in practice.
Our moderation tools show metadata β who, when, which chat β and never the text. The same rule covers logs and push notifications, because a notification is read on a lock screen by whoever is standing nearby.
Finding friends never uploads your address book. Phone numbers are hashed on your device and only the hashes are compared β then the list is thrown away. We don't store it, and that discarding is the actual protection: a hash of a phone number is short enough that nobody should call it a secret.
Delete your account from inside the app, or from this website. Your data is erased, not flagged. You can export everything first, in one archive, whenever you want.
That's what makes it worth keeping alive.
